GTA VI arrives 3 years and 11 days after confirmation
The official release date completes a cycle that began in November 2023.

Rockstar confirmed GTA VI on November 8, 2023. The game is now scheduled to launch on November 19, 2026, leaving exactly three years and 11 days between the two milestones.
That gives November a neat role in the story. It hosted the formal confirmation and, under the current schedule, will also host the moment players finally enter Leonida for themselves.
The first trailer followed on December 4, 2023. Trailer 2 arrived on May 6, 2025, but the release plan still had more turns ahead before settling on its current date.
The official schedule moved from a 2025 window to May 2026 and then to November 19, 2026. For fans following every update, those changes turned a simple countdown into a timeline of its own.
Three years and 11 days is not a clue about GTA VI, and it should not be treated as one. It is simply a satisfying bit of calendar symmetry after a long sequence of announcements, trailers and revised plans.
The dates behind this calculation come from official Rockstar Games and Take-Two announcements recorded by G6 World. The November framing is our own editorial observation.
