Leonida spans six confirmed region types
The official setting includes a city, islands, wetlands, countryside, a port town and a national park.

Vice City may be Leonida’s centerpiece, but the confirmed setting is not limited to one urban landscape. Six named regions have been introduced, and each fills a different geographic role.
Vice City is the main city, while the Leonida Keys form an archipelago. Port Gellhorn is identified as a port town, giving the official location list another kind of urban environment.
Beyond those areas, Grassrivers is a swamp and Ambrosia represents Leonida’s interior. Mount Kalaga rounds out the list as a national park.
That mix is the detail worth noticing. The six confirmed names are not simply interchangeable map markers: they cover a city, islands, a port community, wetlands, countryside and protected wilderness.
None of this establishes their scale, placement or how travel between them will work. It does, however, support an editorial reading that Leonida’s identity depends on contrast rather than Vice City alone.
The locations and their classifications come from official GTA VI materials released by Rockstar Games.
