Rockstar released GTA VI Trailer 2 on May 6, 2025. Four days earlier, the studio had moved the game’s launch window to May 2026 and said it needed additional time for polish. That short gap places two major official updates in the same week.
The schedule had previously pointed to 2025. Take-Two presented that release window on May 16, 2024, before Rockstar replaced it with the May 2026 target. Trailer 2 then arrived immediately after that calendar change, rather than before it.
The dates make the sequence precise: the delay announcement was published on May 2, while the trailer premiered on May 6. Both milestones come from Rockstar’s official communication. The four-day interval is simply the difference between those two recorded dates.
That May 2026 window is no longer the current plan. Rockstar announced another change on November 6, 2025, setting November 19, 2026 as the release date for GTA VI. The four-day curiosity belongs to the 2025 timeline, while November 19 remains the officially announced launch date.
