Rockstar has released 38 new GTA 6 screenshots, putting Vice City, Jason and Lucia in focus just weeks before launch. The images appear in a dedicated gallery created by the company and show different people, locations and events from the game. GTA 6 is due to launch on November 19 for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, according to Eurogamer.
What appears in the new screenshots
The selection includes a DJ performing, a man standing beside his pitbull and a tattooed character getting a haircut with a machine gun nearby. Another screenshot captures a motorcycle escape. Eurogamer describes the material as a collection of high-quality in-game images.
One scene shows a lively dive bar where a band seemingly called The Rusty Anchor is performing. Older women are seen talking near an open-shirted man enjoying a beer. The Eurogamer writer picked this scene as their personal favorite among the 38 images.
A gallery built around the launch
Rockstar placed the screenshots on a dedicated launch gallery website designed to be explored by scrolling down the page. The collection provides additional views of GTA 6 environments and situations before release. The source does not provide an earlier timeline for the promotional campaign, focusing instead on this new gallery.
What changes for players
The screenshots give players more material to examine from Vice City, the protagonists and the range of situations found in GTA 6 before November 19. The publication does not change the release date or platform list presented by the source. PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S remain the listed launch platforms in Eurogamer's report.
What remains unknown
The gallery does not explain where each situation fits within the game. It also does not say whether the motorcycle escape, DJ performance and dive bar are connected to missions, optional activities or open-world moments. Even the name The Rusty Anchor is presented by Eurogamer as an apparent identification rather than an additionally confirmed detail.
Eurogamer also places the gallery near other events involving Rockstar. Employees are due to vote a few days before launch on whether to formally recognize a developer union, while the Rockstar versus IWBG employment tribunal is set to conclude on the eve of release. Those details form part of the schedule cited by the outlet, while the 38 screenshots remain the focus of the new gallery.
