71% in PC Gamer Poll Will Wait for GTA 6 on PC

Most respondents would rather wait, even without a release date for the PC version.

Redação G6 World

A PC Gamer poll found that 71% of respondents intend to wait for GTA 6 on PC. The game launches this month, but no date has been given for the computer version. Even so, most participants chose not to move immediately to consoles.

The poll gave readers three possible paths. They could wait for the PC release, play on console when GTA 6 launches, or start on console and later play on PC as well. PC Gamer only disclosed that 71% selected the first option, without providing the split between the other two.

The result specifically represents the audience that responded to the poll, not every GTA 6 player. The total number of participants was not provided either. Still, the margin shows a clear preference for PC within this group of readers.

That wait does not come with a concrete deadline. According to PC Gamer, GTA 6 marks Rockstar's return to Vice City this month, while the timing of its PC arrival remains unknown. The source does not offer a window or estimate for that version.

Modding appears as one personal reason for waiting. The PC Gamer writer said mods are half the fun for her and sided with readers who would rather hold off. That is an editorial preference, not confirmation of mod features or support in GTA 6.

For PC players, the poll does not change the price, access conditions, or release schedule. It does show that a substantial share of respondents is willing to miss the initial launch rather than switch platforms or play twice. Without a PC date, those players still have no firm timeline around which to plan.

It also remains unknown how many people voted or how the remaining 29% were divided between console play and using both platforms. The poll does not answer when GTA 6 will reach PC either. For now, the figure confirmed by PC Gamer is that 71% of its respondents would rather wait.
