Mod Adds Armed Furry Gang to GTA 5

The combination uses turf wars to spread groups across the map

Redação G6 World

PC Gamer turned GTA 5's streets into territory contested by armed gangs using two mods. The combination spread groups wearing wolf costumes across Los Santos and placed those factions in battles over different areas. The outlet followed one of the groups directly during a fight.

The first component installed was Gang and Turf Mod, which provides the territorial system. PC Gamer then added Furry Gang for Gang and Turf Mod, introducing the new faction into that framework. The two projects work together rather than providing separate experiences.

How the turf war works

Gang and Turf Mod adds a gang warfare system inspired by the structure of GTA: San Andreas. Different factions fight over areas spread across Los Santos. These conflicts can reach both the heart of the city and small rural communities in the north.

The Furry Gang add-on fills that system with combatants wearing wolf costumes. They appear with weapons and attempt to capture corners held by other factions. According to PC Gamer's account, the group overwhelmed the rivals encountered during the test.

The experience also includes gangs provided by the main territory mod. Some of them wore suits, although the article does not provide their names or further characteristics. During the observed session, they could not stop the costumed newcomers from advancing.

PC Gamer followed one of the groups as it moved into battle. Its members dodged cars and quickly defeated most of the opponents they encountered. The scene showed the territory system producing a moving street fight rather than limiting control changes to menus.

The situation became even more chaotic when a tornado appeared during the battle. It threw members of the gang into the air and eventually caught the person conducting the test as well. He was then teleported elsewhere on the map, adding to the mix of effects active during the modified session.

A member of the faction wearing a purple costume could also be seen on a nearby ridge. The figure remained still and watched the area after the confusion. PC Gamer described the moment as though the character were waiting to plan another conquest.

Part of an ongoing mod series

The test is part of a daily series called Los Santos Customs. Its goal is to keep modifying GTA 5 until it resembles a PC version of GTA 6 or breaks completely in the process. Each new installation adds another unpredictable layer to the game.

This experiment's clearest connection to the series' past is the system inspired by GTA: San Andreas. What returns is not a location or character, but the concept of gangs fighting over territory. The new add-on uses that familiar foundation to put a very different faction on the streets of Los Santos.

What changes for players

The new gang is not an update to the original GTA 5 experience because it depends on installing two mods. For players who modify the game, the combination offers territorial battles involving system-controlled factions. The observed session also demonstrates how other active effects can make those fights even more unpredictable.

What remains unknown

Installation requirements, compatibility with other modifications and the settings used for the test were not detailed. It is also unclear how frequently the gang appears or whether its behavior can be customized. For now, PC Gamer confirms only what happened during its own session with Gang and Turf Mod and Furry Gang for Gang and Turf Mod.
