Mod Gives GTA 5 Cars Ejector Seats

Eject launches the player out of a vehicle, but a safe landing is far from guaranteed

A mod called Eject adds a form of ejector seat to GTA 5 vehicles. At the press of a button, the player can be launched out of a car while traveling through Los Santos. PC Gamer installed and tested the script as part of its daily series of game modifications.

Eject’s description says the mod lets players leave vehicles and parachute down. The first part worked during the test, but the second did not happen as advertised. Instead of a controlled descent, PC Gamer described a screaming plummet.

The mod’s default force setting is 150, although the unit represented by that number is not explained. The outlet increased the value to 10,000 and drove around Los Santos while triggering the ejection. An attempt to raise the force to 100,000 appeared to make GTA 5 crash on launch.

The test also found that Eject does not preserve momentum particularly well. PC Gamer tried to leap across an overpass and land safely back in the same car, but none of those attempts succeeded. That limits more elaborate stunts, although it does not stop the mod from producing unexpected launches.

For GTA 5 mod users, Eject provides a new way to leave a vehicle quickly and experiment with the game’s physics. Its adjustable force can make the effect more intense, but the test indicates that extreme values may prevent the game from starting. The mod also failed to provide either a parachute descent or a safe landing during the reported experiment.

It remains unclear what the force measurement represents or why the parachute descent did not occur in the test. The source also does not detail installation requirements, compatibility or setup instructions. PC Gamer published its experience with Eject on October 14, 2026.
