Mod Brings Rick and Morty to GTA 5

A Rick and Morty-inspired mod adds another layer of chaos to GTA 5. The package lets players transform Trevor, use energy weapons, control a flying saucer and throw objects that generate black holes. PC Gamer tested the experience as part of a daily series of modifications in Los Santos.

The experiment belongs to the outlet’s attempt to mod GTA 5 every day. Its stated goal is to turn the game into a kind of PC version of GTA 6 or push it until it breaks completely. Each new installation therefore has to coexist with changes added during earlier sessions.

What the mod adds

The installed package is called Rick, Two Crows, and Morty. According to the report, its features become available at the press of a button inside the game. The selection includes a boy with adjustable size, weapons that fire lasers or rings of light, and a vehicle shaped like a flying saucer.

Pressing F7 makes Trevor take on the appearance of Rick or Morty — the writer does not confidently identify which one. The model wears a lab coat and a dirty T-shirt. That visual change brings the animated show’s aesthetic into the middle of Los Santos’ unpredictable routine.

The mod also includes Poké Ball-like objects with different functions. Some generate black holes when thrown, while others behave like conventional Poké Balls. Lasers complete the collection of tools used by the writer to cause trouble around the city.

The flying saucer can rise, fall and occasionally rotate in the air. The test, however, did not find a way to pilot it normally. That left part of the feature without a clear function during the reported session.

A Los Santos already overwhelmed by mods

The Rick and Morty package was not tested on a clean GTA 5 installation. Natural disasters, flying cars and missing exterior parts of the world were already affecting the game. The result mixes the new modification with a sequence of earlier experiments from the series.

The writer describes Los Santos as a world that has developed its own rhythm, even without direct intervention. While black holes are being thrown and lasers fired, another modification displays a notification saying, “The American People have been wiped out.” The message appears without stopping the rest of the accumulated chaos.

At another point, the character is teleported to a bar in northern, rural San Andreas. One of the black hole-generating objects is thrown behind the counter before the writer leaves the building. The scene shows how quickly the installed systems can redirect a session.

Outside, a tornado consumes an entire battalion of furries, another element produced by the accumulated modifications. A bodyguard is pulled toward the black hole inside the bar and becomes stuck to an exterior wall. That combination does not come exclusively from the Rick and Morty package, but it defines the environment in which the mod was tested.

What it changes for players

For GTA 5 mod users, the package provides tools focused on freely transforming the sandbox rather than following the game’s traditional activities. Its main addition is the combination of character models, weapons, objects and a vehicle inspired by the animated show. The source does not provide a price, requirements, compatibility details or access conditions for the mod.

It also remains unclear how to control the flying saucer fully, as the test only managed to change its height and make it rotate occasionally. There are no details about future updates or fixes for that behavior. PC Gamer concludes that even without mastering every feature, combining the mod with the chaos already installed produced a fun and unpredictable experience.
