Manni L. Perez, an actress fans have linked to Lucia in GTA 6 for years, gained attention following a recent livestream. Comments about Lucia and the new game appeared repeatedly during the conversation, but Perez did not answer them. Rockstar Games has not confirmed that she is part of the cast.
The livestream lasted 12 minutes and reached a peak of more than 2,100 viewers. According to IGN, this happened on a six-month-old Instagram account with only nine posts. The audience mostly heard Perez discuss her routine and childhood.
Perez said she grew up in a small, rural town with a culture she described as “redneck-y.” She also talked about loving to cook and growing up driving trucks. She did not present any of those stories as references to GTA 6.
Responding to viewers who assumed she was wealthy, Perez said she was a regular person. The actress explained that she lives in a small studio apartment with her dog and does everything on her own. She added that she feels grateful and believes she is in a very good place in her life.
At another point, Perez smiled and said she wanted a green truck. Users were simultaneously mentioning Lucia, GTA 6, and even Jason in the comments. The actress continued acknowledging only messages about other subjects.
Some viewers directly asked whether she would play Rockstar’s new game or if she was ready for November. Others urged her to confirm the alleged Lucia role. Perez did not answer any of those attempts during the livestream described by IGN.
Her silence does not amount to a casting confirmation. The connection between Perez and Lucia comes from clues collected by fans over several years, not from a Rockstar announcement. For now, her involvement in GTA 6 remains a possibility discussed by the community.
Perez has previous live-action and voice credits, including single-episode appearances in Jessica Jones, The Blacklist, and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. She also played a blackjack dealer in Grand Theft Auto Online. Fans have used that background as part of their case, but it does not prove that she plays Lucia.
A similar situation surrounds Dylan Rourke of Modern Family and Grey’s Anatomy. Fans have long speculated that he could be playing Jason, Lucia’s partner. Rockstar has not confirmed Rourke either.
Stephen Root is the exception mentioned in the report amid the uncertainty surrounding the cast. The actor himself said he will appear as drug trafficker Brian Heder. Even so, most names connected to GTA 6 characters remain publicly unconfirmed.
For players waiting for the game, the livestream changes nothing about platforms, access, or timing: GTA 6 is scheduled for November 19 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The episode does show how curiosity surrounding Lucia and Jason has intensified during the final stretch. Without further announcements, players may need to wait until launch to learn the full cast.
It also remains unknown whether Perez is actually involved with GTA 6 and when Rockstar will reveal more actors. Her decision not to engage with those questions settles neither issue. As reported by IGN, the documented event was a personal livestream surrounded by fan comments, not a confirmation about Lucia.
