Rockstar Games will release a free printable map of Leonida on November 19, the same day GTA 6 launches. The game's cover art will also be available to download and print at no cost. Both files will be published on GTA 6's official website.

The map and poster will initially be offered as digital downloads. That means players can print the material themselves instead of necessarily finding it inside the game's retail box. Rockstar has not detailed the files' formats or dimensions.

The company also plans to sell a double-sized physical version of the cover art poster. It will arrive at the Rockstar Store shortly after launch and cost 99 cents. The poster will also be included for free with any purchase from Rockstar's store.

The announced offer does not include a commercially sold physical version of the Leonida map, at least based on the details currently available. The 99-cent item is the larger physical cover art poster. The map itself will be available as a free printable file.

The move brings back part of a tradition associated with earlier games in the series. In the past, GTA releases included fold-out posters inside the box, usually combining the game's cover art and map. GTA 6 is taking a different approach because the game will be distributed as a digital release.

Even GTA 6 boxes sold at retail will not contain a disc. Instead, they will include a code for a digital download. Rockstar has not said whether those boxes will contain any additional items.

For players, the key difference is that access to the Leonida map will not depend on buying a specific retail box. The free file will be available through the official website on launch day. Anyone who wants a physical copy can print it, although the cost and final result will depend on the chosen printing method.

Some retailers may provide their own incentives for GTA 6 orders. According to the source, Walmart purchases will include some kind of “surprise,” but its contents have not been revealed. That retailer bonus is separate from the free digital map and poster offered directly by Rockstar.

It remains unknown what print size Rockstar will recommend for the map, whether multiple file versions will be offered, or whether retail boxes will contain any extras. Rockstar also has not provided an exact release date for the physical poster beyond saying it will arrive shortly after launch. For now, only the free downloads are set for November 19.

The details were published by GameSpot, based on information confirmed by Rockstar Games about the release. The most important distinction is straightforward: the map and cover art will be free downloads, while the larger physical poster will cost 99 cents or come with any Rockstar Store purchase. GTA 6 launches on November 19.
