Goober & Goober Eats brings gig work to Los Santos with a work phone, passengers, and food orders.

A mod has added rideshare and food delivery services to GTA 5. Called Goober & Goober Eats – Realistic Rideshare & Food Delivery, it lets players accept jobs and travel across Los Santos as drivers or couriers. PC Gamer installed the project and put its core systems to the test.
The mod creates a dedicated work phone separate from GTA 5’s regular handset. This new device is activated through its own key and allows the character to become available for jobs. Once a task is accepted, a line on the map guides the player to the pickup point.
A second route shows where the passenger or order needs to be delivered. In PC Gamer’s test, the pickup system worked without major trouble. The difficulty emerged during a delivery to the far north of San Andreas, which would have required a drive lasting a couple of minutes.
The attempt was disrupted by other mods that remained active in the same GTA 5 installation. One of them teleported the player to a random location on the map every 50 seconds. The journey was eventually interrupted when the character became stuck between two structures at a cable car station.
The delivery was ultimately completed after a manual teleport to the destination. According to the account, the job paid approximately $100 in-game. Another teleport then sent the session to the airport, where additional modifications once again interfered with the experience.
For players, Goober & Goober Eats provides an activity structured around routes, pickups, and deliveries rather than GTA 5’s conventional missions. Its dedicated phone and map guidance organize that gig-work loop inside Los Santos. The experience described by the publication, however, was heavily altered by the collection of other mods running at the same time.
The report does not establish the mod’s installation requirements, configuration options, or compatibility with other modifications. It also leaves open how many passengers, food orders, and reward variations are available. The demonstration published by PC Gamer confirms only how the basic rideshare and delivery systems worked during its test.
